Dr. Lina is the Assistant Professor of Biopsychology at R.I.T. in the department of Liberal Arts and Health Sciences. She also heads the Student Support Center, aiding students in achieving their maximum potential throughout their academic journey.

Dr. Lina attained her Ph.D. from McGill University, Montreal, Canada in Behavioral Neuroscience specializing in Chronic pain patients suffering from Depression. Throughout her research career she studied the extensive plasticity that the nervous system undergoes in disorders and alternatively attempted to optimize current lines of therapy.  

Dr. Lina has over a decade of experience in teaching Health Sciences and providing students both behavioral and academic support. She has a highly reputable and qualified track record amidst faculty and students for her support, guidance and highly competent teaching and communication skills.
