As a part of your RIT Dubai education, you will have the opportunity to study on the RIT campus in Rochester, New York. Those choosing selected majors in engineering, computing, and business will have the option to spend one or two quarters on the Rochester campus.
During your study at RIT Dubai, you will have the option to live and study at on our campus in the US – you will take courses in your academic major, and have course options that may not be available in Dubai. You will experience living and studying in RIT’s world-class laboratories and academic facilities, and interact with students, faculty, and staff from the US and around the world. You will live in RIT residence halls, take classes with RIT students, and join in the academic and social life of the university.
Your academic advisor and program coordinator will work with you to assist with course selection, help you with your transition and adjustment to the RIT campus, and offer the support and assistance you need to take full advantage of this opportunity to study at our campus in Rochester. In addition, you will pay the same tuition as on the Dubai campus, and be responsible for paying travel and living expenses for their term at RIT.
Some students may wish to begin their studies at RIT Dubai, and then transfer to the RIT campus in Rochester to complete their degree program. Students will be required to complete a special application process to transfer, and will need to meet all academic requirements and immigration requirements. In addition, if they are approved and choose to transfer to RIT Rochester, they will be required to pay the RIT tuition rate for courses on the main campus.
