I would love to say that I came up with that title all by myself, but I must give the credit to campusprogress.org.
So, Swine Flu is killing us all, huh? Not quite... I am of the opinion that if you eat your vegetables, get 8 hours of sleep, and get enough exercise, your immune system will be able to fight any flu off. I for one am not worried.
My hypochondriac friend is totally freaking out about it. I know it sounds really bad, but I hope she gets it. She is going to keep freaking out about it until she is immune, and that will happen once she gets it. After a week of feeling horrible she will go back to how she is now, just without worrying so much.
So far, RIT has not been taken over by the disease, however the hype is totally here. Posters everywhere warning you to stay in your room, isolated, if you come down with the flu. A website is devoted to up-to-the-minute information about what's going on here. I know it is an issue, but until it actually hits here, the hype seems overboard.
