Back to School Time

(September 14 2006) Written by: Kahle Toothill in Advising & Support, Athletics, Coursework, Student Life

I'm going to do a very breif recap of the past 3 weeks here at RIT. (Wow - I've been here for 3 weeks already??) The first week and 3 days was spent training for Orientation. I was a Lead Orientation this assistant which means I had the privledge of carrying around a walkie talkie and driving golf carts around campus. Yay fun! After all that fun training , the first years arrived and they had a week packed with activities, academic advising, concerts and more. Then started classes and my first week went very well. I'm only taking 12 credits this quarter since last Spring was too much of an overload. I'm taking Spinning (a cycyling fitness class), Ecology, Medical Genetics, Intermediate Spanish I, and Wines of the World. It's week 2 now and the workload and general busy-ness is starting to pick up. I also joined two intramural sports teams: softball and soccer. Hopefully I'm going to have an enjoyable fall quarter of my SENIOR year (ahh!). Oh, on a side note, I'm taking my GMATs soon. This test will (hopefully) allow me to start my Masters of Buisness(MBA) next quarter and hopefully finish it within a year after graduation. That's the plan for now. I'll post some pictures from Orientation as soon as I upload them :)
