Back to Work!

It’s Week 5. It hasn’t really hit me yet that I’m halfway through the school year. Week 5 is also the week where academics really kick into gear and there’s no stopping till finals week. Then there’s spring break, but that’s 6 weeks away. Till then, there’s lots to do!

Over the holiday break, I used that extra time to make some money back at my old job as a cashier at Target and to get a head start on making my resume and pulling a portfolio together to start applying for co-ops for the summer. It’s kinda surreal to be applying for these co-ops that are relevant to what I’ve been studying and to aim towards a “real” job. Don’t get me wrong, Target has it’s perks working there, but I definitely can’t wait to find a job in what I’ve been working so hard toward!

But now it’s the beginning of Week 5 and have already had a week of classes. This week I have two midterms (a written and practicum) and a big project due in programming, 6 fully designed compositions for my Information Design class, and an online quiz for my Human Communication class all due this week. Kinda crazy but it will all (hopefully) get done! =)

Good luck to all of you Early Decision people who’ve been accepted already! If you have any questions, feel free to comment below or check us out on Facebook!
