Engineering at it's Finest
These past few weeks have been crazy, so many things have been happening on campus. I can’t believe there is only two weeks left of my freshmen year!
I have realized that it’s been a while sense I have been able to write a blog. There has been a lot going on, on campus, and with school coming to an end I have had a lot to do. One of the biggest things that I’m doing now is preparing for next year on Engineering House. There is a group of us looking at applications for next years freshmen and I have to say I’m quite excited. So if you haven’t sent in your application you should ASAP! Also because it’s coming to the end of the year and I am now the secretary of the house, there has been a lot of stuff going on, and planning for next year. It’s going to be a lot of fun.
So this past weekend was Imagine RIT, and I have to say it was crazy on campus. Anywhere you went there was food or music or just something amazing. But I have to say the coolest thing was having a project that our house made in the Field House. This year Engineering House decided we were going to make a mono-wheel, and display it in Imagine RIT. At first it looked like really hard work but a few people on floor really dedicated a couple weeks to making sure it was finished in time and looked amazing. Here are some pic’s of it:
I think the
end result was beyond amazing, and it seemed to get a lot of attention. It was
even put on RIT’s main homepage. Its amazing
what a group of engineers can do haha.
Other than that I have just had a busy week academic wise. I feel like even in high school the last few weeks were the busiest. Maybe it’s because it’s nice out and you just want to be outside or summer is just so close you can’t concentrate. Either way its best to just finish the year out strong and summer will come before you know it!

And I can't say anything as to who the new accepted freshmen are on Engineering House for the fall, but if you applied then you should hear from housing sometime late June.
