Fine dining at RIT

(April 05 2009) Written by: Sade Fridy in Dining, Student Life

As a student at RIT there are several things you should do before you graduate. One of those things (and there are many) is eat at Henry's. So in order to accomplish this, a fellow ambassador and myself decided to go there for lunch. Henry's is a restaurant that is entirely student run. It is located on the fourth floor of building 1 and is only open on Tuesdays and thursdays from 11:30am to 12:30pm. You have to make a reservation but you can do it online at their website.

Anyway, on to the good part, the food. We chose Combo #2 (there are 3 meal combos), which included: a meal, dessert, and beverages (with free refills). I had the Grilled Mahi-Mahi which came with rice and vegetables (see picture below). It was excellently done. For dessert I believe I had the raspberry crisp another good choice. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of it.

The service was also excellent and our waitress was very nice.

Oh and I almost forgot, you get an appetizer of bread and olive oil, for free!

I highly reccommend it to all students, parents and anyone who may be reading this. The website is: RIT Henry's (click it!)
