This weekend was the fifteenth annual MUD TUG competition hosed by the sisters of Zeta Tau Alpha and the brothers of Phi Kappa Psi.

MUDTUG is an all out tug-of-war tournament open to the RIT campus and surrounding Rochester community. This year the chapters raised over $6,500 - all of which will be donated to Hillside Faily of Agencies.

The history of MUD TUG dates back fifteen years when the founders - Benigno Reyes (PKP) and Andrea Denney (ZTA) - joined together to create a joint-philanthropy event for the fall of 1995. The pair was inspired by a similar event at Bowling Green State University that hosted a Greek-wide tug of war competition. Benigno and Andrea twisted up the rules and opened it to the entire campus at RIT. Since then MUD TUG has become an annual event for Zeta Tau Alpha and Phi Kappa Psi, and key event in the RIT campus life each fall.

Check out some shots from yesterdays event! Dr. Destler and RITchie the Tiger had the first pull on the "Dream Team" and the kick off of the event. Videos to come later this week!
