My Last Semester of School Ever

This semester marks the last chunk of classes ever. As a graduating senior, this is something really weird to think about. Graduation is 99 days away and I have no idea where I'll be or what I'll be doing a year from now. It's scary and really exciting. It's weird to think that I've been in school basically my whole life, doing homework and going to classes. My safe world of being under the school umbrella is all coming to a close in May.

Last semester I was scared to graduate. What if I don't get a job? Where will I be? How do I make new friends? But this semester I'm starting to feel confident and excited for what's to come after graduation! I know RIT has prepared me for the working world and gives tons of opportunities for me to network with companies and possibly get a full-time job!

Later in Feburary, RIT is hosting a career fair where 200+ companies come to RIT to talk to students! Also in March, there is Industry Day for us design students, where we can talk to design professionals and get feedback on our portfolio sites. Because RIT is so career driven, my classes have me feeling prepared and my past co-op experience. So fingers crossed that I find myself a full-time job! Get excited for the future! =)
