This Summer's Blockbuster Movies!

Cory Gregory on Tuesday, 07 August 2007. Posted in Student Life

Wow. These last couple weeks have been ridiculously busy. This summer has definitely been a learning experience. I have learnt this summer that I will never work a 40 hour week and take a summer class at the same time again. There's just not enough time in the summer to do both. I only find a couple hours a week to do some fun things, but I usually make the best of that time.

This summer has definitely been the summer of "blockbuster" movies. In the hours I have free on Tuesdays, my friends and I go see a movie at the theater near my house. Admission on Tuesdays is only $5 compared to the $9 or $10 that it is regularly. Plus, there is free popcorn as well! Granted, I don't really like popcorn and don't get it too much anyways, but the fact that it is free makes it that much better. Like I was mentioning, we have seen some pretty awesome movies this summer. The list includes Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Knocked-Up, Transformers, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

Since today is Tuesday, we will of course be going to see another movie. This week’s movie will be… The Bourne Ultimatum! Like the first two movies in this trilogy, I think this movie will be amazing. The other two have been action-filled and entertaining. If there are any movies in theaters that you recommend for next week, feel free to leave them in a comment! :)
