Topsy Turvy- Train Style
I can successfully say I survived finals week! YAY! My last exam was last Thursday night, and after a week full of writing papers, finishing a project, and studying for finals, I can now relax until classes resume for winter quarter. Usually I never want to leave RIT and wait until the Saturday after exam week to go home, but I needed a break from RIT. I got a ride how back to my house in the 518 and immediately got to see one of my best friends from high school! After I saw her, I went back home, and my brain definitely needed some rest after all the stress it has been under in the last few weeks. So after a nice long, 8 hour sleep in my comfortable bed, I woke up to get ready for my next adventure. Plattsburgh.
For those of you who don’t already know, I have an identical twin sister. Like legit. She wanted me to come visit her up at her school, Plattsburgh State University. It is in the upper Adirondacks, about 2 and a half hours north of Albany. I wish I had a weekend to sit in my room back home and do nothing, but I guess I will take this opportunity to visit my twin sister. Since I do not have a car, I rode the train up to her school. I do not mind taking the train, especially on a nice afternoon. I only needed to take the train up to Plattsburgh, because my sister let me drive her car home, giving me my own car for a few days while she was still at school. I actually had my own car that I didn’t need to share!
It is nice to be home, but I am still excited to get back to my home at RIT. Everyone needs a little break from the college atmosphere, especially after finals week. Once my mind is refreshed, I can start to hit the books and begin my studies for the winter quarter. Don’t worry, it will not be refreshed until the Monday classes begin.
