I love mail! This week should be good: I'm eagerly anticipating the arrival of several packages that should prove most useful and entertaining. My external hard drive (Western Digital, 80 GB, and chock full) is about two years old and starting to make rather disturbing whirring noises, so I finally bit the bullet and ordered a 300 GB LaCie, which should tide me over for a while. :-)

Secondly, I procured a wealth of gift cards from the Christmas season, and since I don't have a car, it's slightly difficult to actually get to the physical store. So I chose the next best thing: ordering online! And it turns out that when you order online using gift cards, (at least those from Target) you don't have to pay shipping. I ordered a DVD from the Reduced Shakespeare Company, one of the funniest theater troops I've ever seen. I've watched it probably half a dozen times, and it's still just as funny as it was the first time around. My parents also finally got around to ordering my printer, which they promised me for my birthday back in November, so I'm expecting that sometime within the next few days as well. Hooray for mail!

Swim season is rapidly drawing to a close, and I'm really excited for the end of the season so I can start crew again. The swim season has been a rough one, and I'm anxious to do something else, as well as have my hair not freeze everytime I go outside. Registration is in a few weeks, and I've got my classes all picked out, so right now it's just a matter of waiting for everything: mail, crew season, registration...good thing I've got enough to keep me busy until then!
