So it is officially week 5 (technically has been since Monday) and that means midterms and practical’s…Practical’s for those that don’t know are common in GCCIS. It is having to demonstrate your skills/coding ability in around 2 hours. Very stressful and nerve racking and you do it all the time. I have my OS scripting practical tomorrow and am very scared for that because UNIX is complicated and doesn’t make much sense to me the way Java does. Although I have a full year of Java experience more than UNIX so that could be it, and probably is.
There are really only 2 important weeks at RIT in my opinion. Week 5 and week 11, midterm and finals. All else is insignificant because you probably wont be doing much significant stuff. So prepare yourself for these weeks because this is when you will be the busiest I assure you.
The “Dotes Kick Butt Song” is definitely a new song that I can not stop singing.
“Shout out Loud” by Amos Lee. Great song check it out. I have been a big fan of Amos Lee for a while.
