Officially all moved into the new apartment in Buffalove for my second co-op block this year! The company hooked my roommate (Alice < a girlfriend from my freshman floor!) and I up with a two bedroom apartment down the street from the office, so co-op housing was really easy to find this quarter.
Alice and I have decided to live the Buffalo lifestyle and check off our "Buffalo Bucket-list" (a list of the top experiences everyone needs in Buffalo).
Today for my birthday we ventured to Duffs Wings (not the original home of the Buffalo Wing but the locals say its the best around!). We ordered up a batch of their finest and scored a complementary birthday cake!
In short I have to admit I have not experienced the epic-ness of "Buffalos wings" because the Duffs wings were very similar to their Rochester cousins at Buffalo Wild Wings (Bdubs on Jefferson)... but I cannot officially make a ruling until after wing-fest this weekend!
For those of you coming to Rochester this fall - get out on the town and experience the wings of Western New York. Buffalo may be home to the first "Buffalo Chicken Wing" but the rest of western New york (Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse) has perfected the recipe. So make it a goal to grab your RA and fellow residents and snag some wings and vote for yourself who has the best in town.
