Hello Everyone! My name is Angelina Pilarinos and I am a third year visual media student here at RIT. I am an active member of Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority and currently philanthropic chairman. I love reading magazines and they are what ultimately helped me chose my major. One day I hope to be working for a magazine like Vogue or Harpers Bazzar. I love photography, video and everything visual. I've loved my time at RIT so far and can't wait to start a new year!

When I was choosing colleges I had the intention of finding a college that would train me to become a great photographer. I wanted to be shooting ads for magazines, billboards, etc. It was also important that the college I chose had a campus and several opportunities for me to have a good social life. I found this all at RIT. RIT's college of Photographic Arts and Sciences was by far one of the best in the country. I also loved the selection of equipment the students were allowed to take out from the cage. The resources that were available for students was unbelievable compared to other colleges that I researched. RIT also offered several clubs and activities for their students. When I was visiting RIT's open house every one there truly cared about the potential students. I got a feeling of a strong community and that was a big part of my decision. RIT had the perfect mix of a great education, a great social life and a strong community.
