| My name is Ashley Hennigan, and I am an Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions here at RIT. I have an exciting job that allows me to meet with prospective RIT students from around the world. I spend much of the fall and spring visiting students in high schools in New York City and across Long Island. Throughout the rest of the year I read applications, work at campus events, design for admissions publications, oversee social networking ventures, and as you can see, blog! In addition to working at RIT, I am also an RIT alumna and graduate student. In 2007 I received a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree from the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences. As an undergraduate, I was very involved in student life (serving as President of my sorority junior-senior year), winning both President of the Year and the President's Cup for my service. This year I will earn my second RIT degree, graduating with a Master's of Science in Communication and Media Technology. In my spare time, you can find me catching up on social media research, checking out the latest rss feeds from Facebook, Twitter, and my Google readers, planning my next travel adventure, working on perfecting my Spanish, sketching at the nearest museum, taking yoga and pilates at RIT's Field House, or keeping you informed through my most recent blog. | Recent Posts I came across this great clip from this morning's "Today" show.
