As some of you may already know, I'm in a sorority here on campus, Alpha Sigma Alpha
. Every year as a way to say "goodbye" to our graduating seniors, we dedicate a weekend of fun and activities for the whole house. This past weekend just happened to be our senior weekend.
We kicked it off on Friday night where all the seniors got together at my apartment and we prepared our wills, which are sentimental memories that we pass down to younger members of the house. We also made ADORABLE “Senior de Mayo” (get it?) t-shirts for Saturday, which just happened to be Cinco de Mayo.
On Saturday, all of us girls went to a park and hung out, barbequed and got some sun. Sunday morning we had senior wills and brunch. The younger girls cooked everyone an amazing brunch. My favorite breakfast item was the star shaped blueberry muffins since a star is one of our national symbols. We also read our wills and there were some tears shed. It’s a moment that I’ve been looking forward to and also dreading for a while. It’s so exciting to graduate but it’s so hard to say goodbye to such great friends.
Here are some pictures of us seniors:
I love us :)
