Your blog is really helpful for me as it describe the thing very simply and easy to understand for a new person in the market.
Back into the RIT Groove!
I finished up my co-op at the end of August. What a great experience! It was awesome getting a look inside the design field and seeing how everything works in the real world. My co-workers were also so supportive and helpful and I learned a lot. It's weird to not be working now after working full time all summer. I gotta admit, having a 9-5 job is a lot nicer than the hours I used to work at Target.
I also was an Orientation Assistant (OA)! About a week/week and a half before classes started, all of us who working in Orientation came to RIT early for training, to help with freshmen move in, and to help the freshmen get to know RIT and everything the school has to offer! While it's a lot of work and long hours, it's so much fun and I can't wait to do it again next year. I also had the best group of students in my Orientation group (Shoutout to group 6-F!!)! It's sad to have Orientation be over but I'm ready for classes!
And now for this week! Classes started yesterday (yup, on Labor Day) and so far so good! My schedule isn't too packed either right now so I've had some time to catch up on my video games (yeaaa Guild Wars 2!!). It's definately nice to get back into the groove of RIT though. I'm really excited for this year! This is going to be my first full year in my sorority and I'm Vice President! Also, my core classes for my major really start this year and I can't wait to dwell more into New Media Design. I'll keep you all updated on how this year goes!
So, how's you're first days of school going? =)
