Hey everyone! It’s been forever since I’ve blogged! A lot of fun and exciting things has happened this year and I am already looking forward to next year! The reason why I haven’t blogged is that I graduated this past Fall quarter and have received my BFA in Illustration. I have also decided to get my masters here at RIT and will be graduating next Spring. As much as I miss my Admissions family, I had to move on...but not very far! I am now the graduate assistant of the Study Abroad & Fellowships Office on campus.
I’ve only been working there for 5 months and I have already learned a lot about the many programs students are able to partake in all across the globe. (260 programs in 35 countries to be exact.) Anyways...let me cut to the chase.
First, I would like to congratulate all of you were accepted to RIT and will be joining the RIT family in the Fall. It is always exciting to see new faces on campus. (Even though it makes me feel a little older lol) Second, for those students who are interested in studying abroad during their time here at RIT, I would like to invite you to our Destination World Pre-Orientation program.
In this program, student get to move into the dorms early, learn about the studying abroad programs and even go on an international excursion to the exotic land of Canada! :D You can get all the details through this website
I could talk about how awesome this program is all day...but I think this video from last years program will be more entertaining. :)
