A lot has been going on lately. This past Sunday was Easter and my family came to Rochester to spend it with me. That was very exciting, especially since I haven't seen them since spring break (which was in the beginning of March). They came up on Friday, since my mother and sister both had the day off because of Good Friday, and they stayed until Sunday morning. We went out to eat a couple of times and just hung out for the weekend. It was very nice.
On Monday, a debate was held for the senatorial candidates for the College of Engineering. Since I am one of the candidates, I went to the debate and answered questions from the moderator and the audience. Overall, I feel that I gave really good answers. I do have a lot of strong points and I have held many leadership positions in the past.
My birthday is tomorrow and I'm hoping it will be a fairly good day. I do have class until 6, but then I have plans to go out with some friends. During Easter break my parents bought me an acoustic guitar! I was really excited because that was the one thing that I had wanted this year. I haven't had much time to play it yet, but I did play a little this past weekend. I learned the first few chords of Green Day's Time of Your Life, since everyone tells me that it's a pretty simple song to play. Well, that's all I have for now. I will try to post again soon though!
