Hey Guys, I'm Daniel Nwosu, a first year Mechanical Engineering Tech student. I'm the newest addition to the RIT students behind the scene crew too.
Last Weekend was my first time going to a hockey game. Fortunately I was able to spend it in the President's box and it was awesome. It was really exciting seeing President Destler, in a much more relaxed vibe, while still cringing at the sight of a near goal from one of RIT's skilled hockey players.
The president's box was pretty cool. The floors weren't made of solid gold, to disprove any misconceptions :), but it was still really nice. The chairs were really soft. They supported any and every curve that was put up against it. The snacks and coffee were heavenly. Finally, the large pieces of glass that separated the President's box from the stadium were cool because they had the ability to be slid back and forth, so we opened it. This definitely helped us enjoy the full effect of the game.
I had a great time at my first hockey game. I can't wait to go back for more!
