In case this is the first blog post you have read in a while, this past weekend was FreezeFest at RIT. Lots of events went on all around campus, free stuff was given out, and lots of fun was had by all. I took the opportunity to put on a program as an RA. I called it "(Frozen) Water Colors", and it consisted of painting the snow with food coloring and water using spray bottles. I took pictures of some of the better creations, and here they are!
This is Coney, the Gibson Hall (my building). His picture is on the 4th floor lounge window, and now in the snow! He is my creation.
This is a sun with sunglasses. Wishful thinking...
A shooting star.
A Sierpinski Triangle. You know you are at a tech school when this is what poeple choose to draw in the snow
This last one was done as the sun was setting, and it's my favorite (a tropical island in the middle of the ocean). We can only hope....
I want to, in the summer, make a drawing with sidewalk chalk of a snowman and put it together with this one.
So next time you want to do a cool winter activity that is unique and fun, put some food coloring into water and go crazy!
