I guess you can say I'm a little depressed. This winter has been a horrible season for snowboarding. I bought a whole new setup (it's pretty bomb if I say so myself) and I've only got to take it out once. Well, twice, if you count the demo day. I've only been out 8 times I think. Not cool. Anyway, I'm going home this weekend in hopes of finding (at least) some slush to play around in. I've got about 6 ski resorts within an hur of my house so I'm bound to find one.
Since the snow is pretty much non-existant here in Rochester, I have to focus my attention elsewhere. Hiking! I went to
Letchworth with the
RIT Outing Club on Sunday. It was a short hike, about 5.5 miles or so. It was a sunny Sunday afternoon and it felt good to get off campus and be outside, despite the mud.
