Halloween in the Tunnels

Josh Kramer on Sunday, 25 October 2009. Posted in Life After RIT, Residence Life, Student Life

The weekend before halloween every year, the Residence Halls Association (RHA) is trashed. Zombies hobble around visitors as they pass mangled remains of bodies. Yes, it's time for tha annual RHA Haunted Office.

I went on Friday night with a group of my residents and the CEC of my building. The cost is one can to donate to a soup kitchen, which we picked up at the Corner Store on the way there.  It is a very well done haunted house, good enough for the approval of even the most critical college student. The Haunted Office is a tradition I look forward to every year, and a staple of many RIT students' halloween season.

The RHA is also an awesome place to get hockey tickets in return for a can of soup! I did that a lot last year, it's cheaper than buying them at the box office and you're helping to feed people while you're at it :)
