College students LOVE to dress up for Halloween, despite what you might think. Every year we try to go all out with the best costume and then attend a social event where there are X amount of other students just as eager to show off their Halloween spirit. On the topic of spirit, we decorated our apartment with orange lights and blinking halloween "trees" and pumpkins and lot of things. It looks so cute! I'll have to take a picture.
I have to admit, I have new fetish. It's going to this bar/club downtown on Thursdays. It's called Saddle Ridge and it's located in the High Falls district. They send busses to 5 local colleges in the area, pick you up at 10:30 and they have busses leaving the place at 12, 1 and 2am. It's only 18 and over and apparently there were 2300 people there last Thursday. It's only $3 to get in and the drinks are really cheap, for those of you over 21 :-P I reallyyyy wanna go this time since I have such a fun time last week, but unfortunately I have a major exam to study for... and I'm kind of sick so staying out late and trying to get up early when you're not feeling well is not so fun, for lack of better words.
I went with about 10 of my sorority sisters and I ran into an innumerable amount of other friends. So if you think RIT has no social/night life, open up your eyes. There are things going on ALL the time, it's almost overwhelming!
