It's the best time of the year!
Well here it is, December of '07..holiday time & almost the NEW YEAR!! I absolutely love the holiday atmosphere..it is one of my favorite times of the year..minus the icky weather of course! So much has happened in my life since the last time i blogged..not a surprise since that was like..ohhh 6 months ago! I wouldn't even know where to begin to catch up on everything.
The major issue in my life right now..post graduation plans.
I'm pretty sure i change my mind about what i want to do like every other day. I can not decide if i want to get my MBA, MPH, both, get a job, or my new option..apply for Teach for America. My problem is that i want to do them all, but i have to decide which to do first..and im not good at important decisions like that! There was an info session about Teach for America tonight on campus and after going to that im really excited about it again (i had considered it awhile ago but then changed my mind). It is such an amazing opportunity to really change the lives of children, and to have an impact on the future of not only our nation but our world. So needless to say, i have some very important decisions to make in the near future. I just hope I make the right ones.
This weekend is the athlete formal..RIT's athletes get together at a formal and all of the money gets donated to charity. Unfortunately I can't go this year, because i am going home. My nephew Ethan turned 6 on dec 5 and my niece Miah turns 2 on dec 20, and this saturday is there birthday party..so i can't miss that! It is going to be so much fun for them..there is going to be a magician and a guy who brings all of these different reptiles..it will be exciting! I'll let you know if I hold any scary things..maybe a tarantula or a snake! eew.
