Leadership at RIT

RIT is known for Innovation and Creativity, but students are also known for leadership. At RIT, there are ample opportunities for students to enhance their leadership skills. Since I came here I wanted to make sure that I became a student leader, a role model for others to look up to.

I’ve worked for New Student Orientation in the past, and now I work as a Residence Advisor as well as an Undergraduate Admissions Ambassador. All these experiences have helped me develop my leadership, communication, and teamwork skill sets into qualities that job hunters are looking for.

My best advice to those go-getters looking to make a name for themselves in college is to get involved in as much as you can as soon as you can. The more experience you can bring into college, the more you will be able to add to your resume later on!
