Not Much Ado?

(January 28 2010) Written by: Jane Homan in Clubs, Student Life, The Arts

Time for an RIT Players update! This weekend the Players are putting on a performance of Much Ado About Nothing. It's a romantic comedy written by William Shakespeare and will have lots of laughs, a beautiful set, and even some dancing! This is an all student production; where the set design, lights, tech, acting, and directing are all done by students. I recommend everyone go and check out their hard work for it will be a great show! Performances are Friday and Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 2pm in Ingle Auditorium. (tickets will be sold at the door)

The following weekend, Saturday, February 6th, RIT Players will be holding a talent show. It will be in Webb Auditorium at 7:30pm and so everyone should go check out the talent from all different parts of campus. From improv to singing, it will be a highly entertaining show. The judges will be very amusing I'm sure so be prepared to laugh!

Also, NTID will be putting on a performance of Sleeping Beauty later on this quarter (mid-February) so it's another show that people should look out for and definitely see.

And that's it for the updates on shows from both NTID and RIT Players, always something going on here with theater at RIT! :D
