Riding the Storm Out.

(January 15 2009) Written by: Jane Homan in Student Life, The Arts

Hey! It snowed in Rochester, what else is new, haha. The good thing was, when I went to dig my car out of the snow this morning, there was no ice so it was really easy. But by the time I was actually sitting in my car, I was covered in snow. I need to learn how to brush the snow off my car without getting myself covered in it in the process.

Next Thursday, the long week of rehearsals begin before the opening night on Thursday, January 29, and everyone is trying to get their lines memorized and choreography done. As I mentioned in my biography, I am currently in the musical production of the Little Shop of Horrors. I'm in the ensemble, which includes me being a bag lady in the opening number Skid Row, a female customer, and Mrs. Luce in the Meek Shall Inherit. I believe this is going to be a great production, seeing as we put many long hours into rehearsals. And we have a great director, choreographer, and not to mention the main parts are brilliant.

I've been taking some photos at rehearsals, so I will put those up in my next blog post =)

GO SEE LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS!
January 29, 30, 31, and Feb. 1!! =)

I cannot wait to see the show! In my Shakespeare class, one of the guys was wearing the Little Shop of Horrors shirt and I thought of you!

Yes, digging out the car has to be the worst part of winter
