It's that time of year where all of you high school seniors are sifting through the acceptance letters trying to figure out which school best suits your needs.  I remember that time, four years ago, and the thing that helped me make my decision was attending an Accepted Student Open House and having a sponsored visit with WE @ RIT.  A lot of you are probably saying I already attended an open house, no need to visit again.  WRONG! A lot actually goes on during Accepted Student Open Houses that you may not have experienced before.  These Accepted Student Open Houses are taking place on April 5 and 12.

Now that you have, or are receiving shortly, your financial aid award, you can stop in and talk to a financial aid advisor to explain it all or contest your award to try and get more money.  Also, now that you have been accepted into a program of study, you can spend more time meeting with the faculty of that program and learning more about what you actually are going to experience in classes and such.  Chances are this Open House will be a lot larger than any one you have attended before and everyone is going to be 100 times more excited because they know they are coming to RIT.  Also, we want to see all of the things that you find cool around RIT so tag all of your awesome photos from campus and Open House with #RITOH.

For all of you social media savvy future tigers out there, we have created a hashtag just for you: #RITtiger13.  We want to see pictures of you with your acceptance letter, RIT Gear, or anything else that makes you excited about coming to RIT.  As always be sure to check out our webisodes about everything RIT by #RITstudents on youtube.
