Since my last final on May 22nd, I don't think I've sat still for more than 24 hours. I took full advantage of the first few weeks of summer and not having any obligations until mid-June.
I feel like I've been all over the world (or the east cost. Same difference)
Check out my travels!
My first stop was Mount Vernon, ME at my boyfriend's dad and stepmom's lakehouse. They just bought it so there's been tons of renovations and chores that needed done. So in return for free flights, we went up to do some work around the house.
Bonnaroo is also an extremely green festival. They have contests for bring in your recycling and you can win "money" to buy stuff from. Plus there are tons of venders who use environment-friendly everything and some places that make their products entirely from the environment. When you buy something, you almost always are donating something to an organization or supporting a company who tries to keep their carbon footprint as small as possible.
On my two weeks of adventures I was in: New York, Maryland, Maine, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virigina, Kentucky and Tennessee. Over half of those werre visited at least two times!
Through out the entire time I was mostly unplugged so being back in the real world where my phone works, I have internet and can watch tv, I feel so weird but definitely relaxed. Now it's on to tackle my summer job and summer classes! Until my next adventure of course;)
