So, it's only the first week of spring quarter and I am so stressed out already. I have all five of my classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, and, for the majority of the week, I have either class or work from 10 AM until 6 or 7 PM. Besides just dealing with class and work, I also have a ton of homework. Here's a copy of my spring quarter schedule so you can see what my week is like. (Sorry if it's a little tough to read. The sizing wasn't working out too well for me.)
I thought this quarter was going to be a little easier since I have less classes than I did last quarter, but I guess I was wrong. It's only the first week so maybe I just need to get used to the classes and everything will get easier, but who knows?
I know a lot of people in computer engineering who have switched to other majors because CE was too difficult for them or because it wasn't something they were interested in. I know how difficult computer engineering is because I have taken two quarters of classes already from the department. I chose CE because I enjoy math and computers, but it's not the only department that is math- and computer-related. I'm undecided what I really want to study, so for now, I'm not switching anything. I'm going to look at other options though because maybe a change in major will be better for me.
By the way, happy St. Patrick's Day! :)
