So the weather outside on
Thursday might have been frightful, but that doesn't stop anyone...ok
maybe it does all the cars outside at 5 pm trying to get home from work
or all the students getting out of class, but despite that it didn't
stop us!
So yes as you may have read we did not have warm weather
on Thursday, in fact it was quite cold. Here is a picture of Emily's
tour group, I was on break from class and took this picture, this was
taken from Building 70, Golisano College of Computing and Information
Sciences, looking down on our new Innovation Center.
Despite the weather, my friends and I also decided that it is never too
cold to grill. Last year the grilling festivities began, we grilled
EVERY Sunday without fault, when we were in the Rochester area. So this
year we needed to keep up the tradition, now that everyone is back from
their various co-ops the festivities began. This past week my friend
began constructing a "fire pit" He bought cinder blocks from Lowe's and
began constructing...With a couple of trips to Lowe's to get many
things come including fencing for the grate and making friends with one
of the cashiers he didn't think it would be able to be pulled off,
Tyler succeded and we had a very first fire last night, accompanied by
Chicken and Hot Dogs and of course S'Mores! And don't worry we called
the Henrietta Fire Deparment and got cleared, as it was a fire for
cooking!
More snowy grilling experiences to come!
