Think Pink, Babe

Stacy Kowsz on Thursday, 19 April 2007. Posted in Clubs

Zeta Tau Alpha is one of our sorrorities here.
This is their "Think Pink" week in support of breat cancer awareness (their national philanthropy).
All the girls are out collecting donations or handing out ribbons and information.  They are also selling shirt.  My favorite is the pink one with black lettering that says: "Real men wear pink".  Lots of people are sporting shirts or ribbons.  The ZTA ladies are doing a kick-butt job! (like they do every spring for "Think Pink" week)
In support of their work, I'm going to post of of the info they are passing out:
One in eight women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime.
Women age 20-39:
should do monthly breast self-examinations and have a clinical breast exam at least once every three years
Women age 40 and older:
should do monthly breast self-examinations and have annual clinical breast exams and mammograms
The best weapon we have against breast cancer is early detection.
