With the leftover turkey in Tupperware and the Black Friday deals done, the holidays are upon us, which means on the new semester system that finals are approaching us. Even though they are at a different time than normal, RIT has the resources we need in order to succeed at the end of the semester. First thing a stressed student needs is a place to study. If your room is getting too distracting for you, there’s the Sol Reading Room in Sol Humann Hall of the Residence Hall side of campus. A quiet room with tables and chairs ideal for students to study, it’s also open 24 hours! If you find yourself on the other side of campus, the Wallace Library increases their hours during finals week so students can study well into the night, they will only be closed from 4:30am-5am! If you are looking to study up on your math or science, the Bates Science study center offers student tutoring during the day, and then is open 24 hours for students to use as an extra study space. Global Village Residents also get the luxury of study rooms on their floors as well, which include white boards and some even have televisions or projectors. No matter what your excuse, RIT can provide a quiet and helpful place for you to get your work done!
