Women's Soccer 2008

The Women’s Soccer team had their season come to an end in the 2008 ECAC Upstate Championship at the RIT Turf Field in Rochester, NY.  The Tigers fell in the championship game to SUNY Brockport, they lost 1-0.  The women ended with a 9-8-3 overall record, while they were 5-2-1 in conference play.

Emily Traversi from Acton, MA led the team with 11 goals, 3 assists for 25 points on the season.  Emily was also named to the 2008 ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American All-District 1 Women’s Soccer Team.  Senior Goalie Ashley Conti made six saves in her final game as a RIT Tiger. 

It was the final game for seniors Emily Traversi, Ashley Conti, Danielle LaFrance, Krystal Adriaansen, Amanda Sisti, and Erica Main.
