DIRECTIONS TO RIT:
Public bus and train lines serve Rochester. The campus is located five miles from the Greater Rochester International Airport and five miles from the New York State Thruway (Interstate 90), Exit 46. 

From the Airport: Turn right onto Brooks Avenue, then right onto Interstate 390 South. From 390S, take the next exit (Scottsville Road) and turn right heading south. Drive for approximately three miles and then turn left onto Jefferson Road (Route 252). Proceed east a short distance to RIT’s campus. Taxis are also available from the airport. 

From the N.Y. State Thruway: Take exit 46 and proceed north on Interstate 390 to Exit 13 (Hylan Drive). Turn left on Hylan Drive and continue north to Jefferson Road (Route 252), then take a left at the Jefferson Road intersection. You will travel approximately ½ mile, passing South Town Plaza. Immediately after passing the Radisson Hotel, you will see the entrance to RIT’s campus. 

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT:
Both Friday Check-In and Saturday Check-Out locations will be held in the Gordon Field House (Building 24). When you arrive on campus, please follow signs for College & Careers parking in Lot D. Shuttles will be available to transport families from the Gordon Field House to the student’s residence hall.  

COMMUTER OR SATURDAY-ONLY PARTICIPANTS:
Although we recommend that you stay overnight for the full College & Careers experience, here are some suggestions regarding the program’s schedule if you do not plan to spend the night on campus. 

Friday Night: We encourage you to attend the evening’s social activities and free time. If your parents are picking you up at the end of the evening, be sure to arrange a meeting time and location. 

Saturday:  Check-In for Saturday participants will take place in the Gordon Field House starting at 8:00 a.m. Parking for Check-In will be available in Lot D. At the end of the day, please plan to Check-Out and be picked up (if necessary) from the Gordon Field House. Parking for Check-Out will also be available in Lot D. 

FAMILY ACCOMMODATIONS:
Family members may be interested in staying in an area hotel or motel. At registration, we will collect a phone number we can use during the program to contact you in case of an emergency.
