National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Educational Partnership Program with Minority Serving Institutions Undergraduate Scholarship
Description: Provides scholarships and internship experiences for junior year students attending minority serving institutions pursuing degrees in areas related to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Discipline(s): Includes but not limited to: atmospheric science, biology, cartography, chemistry, computer science, engineering, environmental science, geodesy, geography, marine science, mathematics, meteorology, photogrammetry, physical science.
Eligibility: U.S. Citizens Only. Hold a junior class status at a minority serving institution.
Location(s): Must be enrolled in a minority serving institution, including Hispanic Serving Institutions, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Tribal Colleges and Universities and internship assignments at National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration sites.
Duration: Two academic years and 2 summer internships.

Benefits: Academic allowance paid to students, $2,000 per semester ($4,000 maximum per year); weekly stipend during internship of $650. Weekly housing allowance during internship.
