The Gates Millennium Scholarship
Funded by a grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Open to citizens, nationals or legal permanent residents of the United States who will be enrolling in college for the first time in the fall of 2011. Applicants must be African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American or Hispanic American. Should have demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular or other activities. Must meet Federal Pell Grant eligibility.
