Your Best Practices: Delivered Through Job-Alike Sessions

The hallmark of CSI has been its Job-Alike sessions where registrants with similar job responsibilities join together in facilitated, highly interactive sessions at two times during the Institute. Participants in like roles are identified ahead of time to foster connections around common challenges and triumphs.

One of the most popular elements of the Job-Alike sessions is that each of you presents an idea or Best Practice to your group -- something that has worked well or simply solved an issue in your career center. Sharing these brief informal presentations provides everyone with a wealth of ideas and innovations, stimulates discussion, and serves as a great benchmarking opportunity for all.

Visuals or short write-ups are encouraged to help you describe your Best Practice. Bring 50 copies for distribution to interested participants from other Job-Alike groups. You and your colleagues will elect one Best Practice from your group to be showcased at the full CSI closing session of the Institute. Each year, following the Institute, showcased Best Practices are posted on the website for all to reference.

We strongly encourage you to make your Best Practice a priority so you can fully participate in this signature CSI feature!
