Career Fair

This event, sponsored by the Next Generation of Accountants (NGA), and The Office of Career Services and Cooperative Education is an excellent opportunity for your organization to provide information to students seeking co-ops and full-time opportunities.

Schedule

Career Fair

The event will be held on campus on September 20th in the Gene Polisseni Center.

Office of Career Services will host an employer luncheon from 12:00-1:00 pm. This luncheon will give the Faculty and staff from Saunders College of Business an opportunity to meet with company representatives before the fair begins.

Employers will be able to start setting up their tables at 11:00 am, before the luncheon, and the floor will be open at 1:30 pm for student arrivals. The fair will close at 3:30 pm.

Interview Day

NEW THIS YEAR! Fast-Track your recruiting process by attending this event on September 21st from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Interviews will be conducted in the Office of Career Services and Cooperative Education at the Bausch and Lomb Center at RIT.


Registration

This will provide you with one 6-foot table (draped, no backdrop), 2 chairs and lunch for 2 representatives prior to the fair. Attendance to the Interview Day is free of charge for companies attending the Career Fair.

Registration for the Accounting Career Fair and Interview Day will open on July 2nd, 2018.


Fees

The fee for the Accounting Career fair is $210; all proceeds goes to the students in the Next Generation of Accountants Club.

Deadline

Registrations for the Accounting Career Fair will be accepted until Wednesday, September 5th, or until we reach our maximum of 25 tables, whichever comes first.

Information for Registered Companies

FAQS

Q. Do I need a parking pass in order to park?
A. Yes. Registered attendees will receive a parking pass via email the week before the Career Fair.

Q. Will there be internet access in the building?
A. Yes. There will be instructions when you arrive on how to access the RIT wireless network.

Q. What kinds of materials should I bring to the fair?
A. You may bring your company marketing materials; applications if you require them, giveaways are also common.

Q. Is there room for a display?
A. There will be room for a small tabletop display.

Q. How many students can I expect to see?
A. The RIT Accounting program has about 180 undergraduates and about 30 MBA in accounting students

Q. How does Interview Day work?
A. You will receive schedule forms at the Career Fair, where you can schedule students for interviews as you meet them; you will then conduct your interviews on Friday at the Career Services Office.  Lunch will be provided for all recruiters attending Interview Day.
