By attending this event, your organization will benefit by gaining name recognition and being able to present the benefits and advantages of working for your agency. RIT can offer you the full array of recruiting services needed to support your staffing efforts and ensure you have a pleasant and productive visit to our campus.
Companies are invited to recruit for internships, co-op as well as full-time opportunities.
The College of Liberal Arts at RIT offers 14 undergraduate majors and 5 graduate level degree programs. The bachelor’s degrees include the following majors: Advertising & Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Criminal Justice, Economics, International & Global Studies, Digital Humanities & Social Sciences, Psychology, Philosophy, Public Policy, Political Science, Museum Studies, Sociology & Anthropology. The master’s degrees include: Experimental Psychology, Communication & Media Technologies, Criminal Justice, School Psychology, Science, Technology & Public Policy.
The event will be held on campus Wednesday, March 7th, 2018 from 1:00-3:30 pm in CIMS, Louise M. Slaughter Hall (building 78), Room #2240.
The Office of Career Services will host an employer luncheon from 12:00-1:00pm. The Dean of the College of Liberal Arts Dean, James J. Winebrake will be conducting a short presentation of the programs in the College. This event will also give the faculty and staff from the College of Liberal Arts, an opportunity to meet with company representatives before the fair begins.
Employers can arrive as early as 11am to begin setting up their tables and the floor will be open to students promptly at 1pm.
This will provide you with one 6-foot table (draped, no backdrop), 2 chairs and lunch prior to the fair.

Parking for CIMS building, will be in Parking lot T. You will receive a parking pass with your Career Fair confirmation email.
Q. Do I need a parking pass in order to park?
A. Yes. You will receive a pass with your confirmation email.
Q. Will there be internet access in the building?
A. Yes. There will be instructions when you arrive on how to access the RIT wireless network.
Q. What kinds of materials should I bring to the fair?
A. You may bring your company marketing materials and applications if you require them. Giveaways are also common.
Q. Is there room for a display?
A. There will be room for a small tabletop display.
Q. How many students can I expect to see?
A. The College of Liberal Arts has a total enrollment of 600 students.
