Executive in Residence Program
We are recruiting employers with a positive outlook, who are excited and willing to make a difference. We seek those who are as enthusiastic about RIT as we are! If you are enjoying success in your career and would like to participate in the career development of our current students, we invite you to contact us. We are seeking motivated employer, alumni and friends to make a significant contribution to RIT by volunteering time and talent in the Career Services area. Your time commitment is minimal, but the impact lasts a lifetime.
This program engages key corporate/business representatives with RIT students and the university community in and around topics of career development and employment. It helps RIT students and graduates gain unique insights and perspectives from professionals in the field and enhances/expands the partnership between RIT and both the executive and the organization the executive represents.

Executives will be invited to spend a day at RIT housed in the Office of Co-op and Career Services. The schedule is flexible depending on interests and other opportunities but a sample schedule might include:
8:30-9:00 – Informal breakfast meet and greet with office staff
9:00-11:30 – Individual student appointments
12:00-1:00 – Executive delivered workshop – topics jointly determined by the executive and us.
1:00-2:00 – Lunch with faculty, staff, selected students and/or Student Ambassadors
Each executive will be hosted by one of our team members.
