Packaging Career Fair
The Rochester Institute of Technology hosts an annual Packaging Science Career Fair that brings together students from the packaging science program and industry professionals.

Career Fair
Fair: February 6, 2013
Location: CIMS Building (#78 Louise Slaughter Hall) 2nd Floor Conference Area
Time: 9:00am - 3:00pm
The fair is designed to offer employers and students a forum to meet and discuss the packaging field and career opportunities. Employers have the opportunity to present their company and meet students in the Packaging Science program who are looking for co-op and full-time job opportunities. Students are able to gather general information about companies as well as specific co-op and full time opportunities within them. Average student career fair attendance is 110.
Participation includes:
- One draped 8-foot table without backdrop. (25 tables are available, first-come-first-serve basis).
- Continental breakfast, and lunch for two representatives.
- An electronic resume book via e-mail will be supplied prior to fair.
Interview Day(s)
Interviews: February 7 & 8, 2013
Location: B&L Center, Bldg 77, Office of Co-op and Career Services
Time: 8:00am - 4:00pm
The next day(s) will be devoted to the interviewing of prospective employees for full time or co-op positions.
- Arrange to interview students.
- Interview schedules begin at 9:00 AM with the last interview at 4:00 PM.
- Interviews will be in 30 minute sessions and accommodate 12 students. Starting earlier and finishing later can accommodate additional interviews.

Registration
Companies can register for the event, which will reserve their spot, through online registration. RIT has 25 available employer spots and will reserve on a first come first serve basis.

Fees
$300.00 Registration Fee includes (for 2 representatives):
1 8-foot table (draped, with no backdrop), 2 chairs, electronic resume book, continental breakfast, lunch
$ 25.00 fee for each additional representative over 2

Credit Card: Complete the online registration and pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard only) via our secure online form or send in check by January 4, 2013.

Please note in the confirmation email you receive, the Employer Number to put on the outside of each of your boxes. It would also be helpful to indicate the total number of boxes you are sending (1 of 3, 2 of 3, etc.).
Return Shipping
If you will be shipping items back to your company, please bring return boxes, shipping labels and packaging materials. We do not have boxes at RIT.
Parking
Fair: Park in "T" lot by the Louise Slaughter Hall/CIMS building. You will be able to unload in the Circle in front of Louise Slaughter Hall/CIMS and then park your car. (Click link below; on left of map look for gray "T" lot).
Interview Days: Park in the Visitors Lot by the Bausch & Lomb Center. Visitor parking is limited and fills early. Park in Lot "E" if "V" lot is full. Parking passes will be handed out during career fair for use on interview day.
