RIT is the NY Affiliate university for Project Lead The Way (PLTW).  Our role is to help NY K-12 schools administer their PLTW programs.  We serve NY schools by offering teacher professional development, undergraduate college credit for PLTW students and a network of support, guidance and best practices in STEM education.

Project Lead The Way offers the following programs to students in K-12 schools:

  • Launch (K-5th grade)
  • Gateway to Technology (6th-8th grade)
  • Computer Science (9th-12th grade)
  • Pathway to Engineering (9th-12th grade)
  • Biomedical Sciences (9th-12th grade)
