Engineering Management ME
Program overview
The engineering management curriculum is a combination of engineering courses from the industrial and systems engineering program and management courses from the E. Philip Saunders College of Business. The program combines technical expertise with managerial skills to focus on the management of engineering and technological enterprises. Students in the program will understand the technology involved in engineering projects and the management process through which the technology is applied. The objective is to provide a solid foundation in the areas commonly needed by managers who oversee engineers and engineering projects. In addition to industrial engineering expertise, students gain valuable knowledge in areas such as organizational behavior, finance, and accounting.

Admission requirements
To be considered for admission to the ME program in engineering management, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
- Hold a baccalaureate degree in engineering, mathematics, or science,
- Have a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.00,
- Submit official transcripts (in English) of all previously completed undergraduate and graduate course work,
- Submit scores from the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) (optional),
- Submit letters of recommendation,
- Submit a 1-page statement of purpose, and
- Complete a graduate application.
- International applicants whose native language is not English must submit scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language. Minimum scores of 550 (paper-based) or 80 (Internet-based) are required.
