RIT Computer Account
Get your RIT Computer Account
Your RIT DCE (computer account) will allow you to tap into institute computer systems from any computer that is online whether you are on campus or at home. Online resources include Student Information System (SIS), extensive databases and services available through Wallace Library, E-Mail, RIT Information, Campus Event System, Directories, etc.
Full-time Students: After you have paid the advanced tuition deposit, you will be sent a password via email with instructions to get your DCE Account.
If you have paid your deposit and did not receive an email, contact the
ITS Help Desk .You may contact
them at 585-475-4357.
Part-time Students: You have two options to obtain your
DCE Computer Account.
- Stop by the ITS Help Desk in the Gannett building (7B) room 1113 with a valid RIT Student ID.
- Apply online for your RIT DCE (computer account) at http://start.rit.edu.
Online Students: Once your academic advisor has initially
registered you for an online course, you will receive an account activation
email from RIT Information Technology Services. If you have not supplied
RIT with a valid email address, or if you do not receive this information
within two business days after confirmed course registration, please contact
the ITS HelpDesk at 585-475-4357 for further assistance.
