The advanced certificate program of study consists of five courses (16 quarter credit hours):
2081-721 Digital Print and Publishing
2081-723 Contemporary Publishing
2081-728 Database Publishing
2081-740 Technology Practicum
2080-799 Independent Study
Note: the courses included in the certificate program are also part of the core requirements for the on-line MS in print media graduate degree.
Admission Requirements
Applicants should have a baccalaureate or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
Applicants should have an undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 or higher on the 4.0 scale.
Applicants must submit a graduate application, including official transcripts, personal statement, and two letters of recommendation.
International students must submit TOEFL scores of 550 or higher (paper-based) or 213 or higher (computer-based).
The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is not required for admission into the Digital Print and Publishing certificate program. However, students who elect to transition into the MS in Print Media degree program will be required to submit GRE scores.Related Links
