Online Learning at RIT
RIT has more than 20 years of
experience in distance learning and offers one of the largest and most established
online learning programs in the U.S. Degree programs offered and courses taught
online at RIT are of the same high quality as those offered on campus. All of
the functions of a traditional university are available to you online including
admissions, financial aid services, registration, tuition payment, a comprehensive
library and a bookstore. RIT has an office dedicated to supporting online learners
during their academic experience.
To qualify, candidates must:
- Be new applicants to RIT
- Meet general admission criteria for their chosen program of study OR meet pre-requisite requirements for individual online course(s) of interest
- Be current IEEE members
- Pursue their program or course(s) of study through online learning
All courses are delivered in the English language and are open to candidates from any worldwide location with a high speed Internet connection.
Exclusive to IEEE Members As an IEEE member, your application fee is waived and, if you enroll, you will receive a 10% reduction off the regular on-campus tuition rate if you enroll in any online course or degree or certificate program from RIT.
To qualify for these reduced tuition rates, complete this simple form to get started. RIT will contact IEEE to verify your membership and an RIT representative will contact you to clarify your interest, obtain the remaining necessary information and assist you through the process.
