ACCESS AND SUPPORT SERVICES
RIT will provide the educational access services you need.
You can request:
* Sign language transliteration
* Assistive listening systems
* Note taking
* Speech-to-text real-time translation (usually C-Print). Alternative services
will also be provided as required.

FELLOWSHIP
Be sure to apply to the Professional Fellowship Program. A tuition-free
opportunity for deaf and hard-of-hearing graduate students.
The fellowship provides:
* Full tuition waiver for a graduate degree.
* Up to $15,000 annual stipend paid to you as wages for a part-time career-related
internship at RIT.
* Free housing in a single room in one of the residence halls on campus
in return for your participation as a role model in student life programs.

TUTITION AND FEES
Because RIT receives special federal support, students who are deaf or hard-of-hearing
pay about one-third of RIT’s regular tuition rate. The substantial
tuition reduction for deaf and hard-of hearing students enjoy makes RIT
